Ultimate Classic Rock Show
It all started at the Monsters of Rock Cruise 2023.
After years of purely digital contact Barend and Ruud finally meet again. During a few drinks Ruud told Barend of his dream: a big band that would play Classic Rock covers with no limitations regarding songs, show and experience. A band that will give rock fans in Europe the opportunity to witness an ultimate rock show.
Barend subsequently formed the band (further) and Ruud’s dream has now come true with the birth of a superband: The Metal Studs.
Classic Rock songs will be performed in a swirling show. Songs of a.o. Van Halen, Foreigner, Rainbow, Ozzy, Whitesnake, Foghat, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Journey and many others can be expected.
The band only consists of musicians who pursue the ultimate goal: super fat riffs, steaming guitars, pounding dubbel bassdrum, roaring bass and a swelling Hammond organ.
